Living life on your own can be so interesting and also challenging. In mid March 2012, I left my parents home in the city and flew to a neighboring island to begin my carrier as a Data analyst. Living alone and free from parents scrutiny, with my salary to my self, I began to spend money on things which were unnecessary and unhealthy. My weekends were mostly spend with friends where we cook and go to second hand clothing. For 12 months I watched my life transformed from a discipline young woman to being careless and rude. The salary I was earning at times could not cater for the 2 weeks before the next pay day. I was living my life from pay check to pay check and my new found friends were reluctant to assist me when I told them the story.I began borrowing from co workers just to help me get by and I lived my life pretending that everything was alright until one day I found an article with the title Spend less and Save more. I cried myself to sleep and told myself that from now onwards you will never borrow again. And that has been my life until today. The lesson I learned was that every enjoyment in live is enforced by how much money you have.
